£40,000 - £45,000 Per Year

My client is looking for an intermediate level with 1-2 years experience after post graduate degree to work for an Established contractor based in the south of England working on a range of projects from £50,000 - £5 Million in value. The ideal candidate will have experience in working on mechanical packages and have some exposure to JCT and NEC packages.

Job Requirements:

1. To prepare regular internal commercial reports for the project.
2. To prepare commercial procurement documentation in conjunction with the Project Managers
3. To prepare regular interim payment applications for the project.
4. To collate and submit costs relating to additional works.
5. To monitor that the company's contractual position is protected on all contracts by correspondence, site memos, etc.
6. Follow and maintain company Quality Management Systems and ensure that subordinates do likewise.
7. Ensure company systems are followed for data security and archiving.
8. Monitor and update, in conjunction with the Project Managers, the project Risk Register
9. To provide commercial input to assist the Project Manager to produce regular contract progress reports
10. To obtain quotations and prepare sub-contract / purchase order proforma for the projects under your control.
