Position Overview
We have an exciting entry level opportunity to join our Wholesale team as a Sales Operations intern. You will have an insight into general operations of wholesale functions in Ralph Lauren and support the team with managing an increase in administrative work. This is a 12-month fixed term contract. We currently operate on a hybrid workforce with minimum 2 days a week in the office 3 days working from home. Our office is based on Bond Street in central London.
The role - Assisting the Wholesale Sales Operations team with daily duties including reconciliation & release of sales orders, managing queries from internal & external colleagues with some reporting and analysis. An integral part of the role will be to manage & process multiple daily orders on the B2B platform as well as assisting with account queries and creation. Liaising with various departments across the business including sales team, fulfilment/supply chain, credit control & management to ensure the customer orders are released and delivered efficiently and team KPI’s are met. Assisting the team with returns, refused deliveries and general ad-hoc duties.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Processing of B2B orders – daily requirement
- Running and sending daily/weekly reports
- Assist in processing returns & raising RA’s.
- Creating order confirmation template files to aid earlier release
- Assisting with special order e.g. Golf orders and special requests (embroidery)
- Helping to monitor and distribute wardrobing orders
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Intermediate experience of Excel required (e.g. vlookups / pivot tables / sorting & presenting data
- Ability to manage large workloads and prioritise daily/weekly tasks
- Previous B2B and SAP experience is preferable but not necessary
- Previous experience in management of wholesale accounts is ideal
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities, use own initiative, integrate into a large team
