We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the chemical or water industry and be proficient with CRM systems. This role is integral to our operations, providing expert support and driving sales performance.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide technical support and solutions.
- Generate and follow up on sales leads, and convert inquiries into orders.
- Maintain and update customer records within the CRM system.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Provide customers with quotations and negotiate terms if necessary.
- Monitor sales metrics and meet personal and team sales targets.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Internal Sales Engineer within the chemical or water industry.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to discuss products and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
