Advanced Studwelding Systems Ltd are looking to recruit a highly motivated Internal Sales Engineer with a genuine passion for selling high quality stud welding equipment, consumables and fasteners into the UK engineering sector.
We are a market leading family owned company. You will be responsible for assisting with the development of existing customers, identifying and targeting new prospects, customers and market sectors.
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to acquire new customers, drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling, ensure customer retention, and contribute to the overall success of the business.
We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, and motivated to achieve results. You will work with the Directors delivering exceptional customer service through the provision of stud welding solutions with full technical and product support offered by Advanced Studwelding.

Responsibilities
- Identification of potential new market sectors and customers.
- Contacting new customers to identify their needs and to introduce them to Advanced Studwelding.
- Support the Directors in the pursuit of additional sales from current and potential customers.
- Manage incoming calls and emails from customers.
- Successfully match customer requirements to proposed solutions.
- Prepare, submit and follow up quotations.
- Effectively communicate client needs.
Requirements and skills
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications to sell stud welding and engineering solutions.
- Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Solid technical/engineering background with an understanding of eletrical and mechanical products.
- Experience in equipment repairs, and using an oscilloscope to diagnose faults.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and creativity skills.
- Honesty, integrity, a passion for engineering and a willingness to learn.
