International Business Development Manager, Blandford, £69,500 plus commission (uncapped)

Role purpose

As International Business Development Manager for an established engineering business operating in the North Dorset area, specialising in the design and manufacture of various equipment for frontline health services, you’ll report directly to the Sales Director and be instrumental in managing and developing relationships and new business opportunities within export markets.

As International Business Development Manager you’ll:

  • Be instrumental in developing new business internationally through channel partners
  • Develop, manage and implement business plans
  • Generate leads and approach prospective customers
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients, managing/interpreting their needs
  • Provide detailed market analysis of market potential
  • Regularly provide and update sales forecasting and analysis
  • Attend conferences, seminars and events, as well as delivering presentations
  • Manage the export team

 As International Business Development Manager your skills andexperience will include:

  • Previous demonstrable experience selling into a medical setting
  • Proven knowledge and experience in international export sales
  • Ambitious and focused, with a hunger to drive sales forward
  • Sales/Business Development experience and strong communications skills
  • Able to build rapport and develop robust relationships
  • Experience working with a wide variety of customers, in a home office/field-base capacity
