International Courier Sales

£60k+ (dependent on experience) plus generous commission structure

Remote with regular catch-up meetings in Waterloo, LondonOverview

My client is a market leading International Courier company with its head office in Honk Kong. They have an impressive footprint throughout the Asia Pacific region. They are highly ambitious and building on their 30 years of consistent growth, they have recently opened offices in UK, Australia and USA.

The Role

With ambitious growth plans for their UK operation, they are looking for a new business development manager with a proven track record from within the international B2C/B2B International Courier market. The role is working from home with a catch-ups in London office.

You will be joining this business’s UK arm at its very earliest stages and a generous salary is on offer to the right candidate with the right experience. Ideally, they are looking for someone with an exceptional track record from one of the major players in the International Courier business that can hit the ground running and introduce their highly competitive services, backed up by an exceptional reputation for customer services, which they built up over the last thirty years. As well as a generous basic salary a car allowance and generous commission structure are also on offer.

Key Skills & Experience

  • The ability to develop your own personal marketing and sales development plan
  • Sales and marketing experience in the International Courier market sector
  • Up to speed with current and online sales and marketing techniques and best practices
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Identifying and qualifying customer opportunities for new product sales.
  • Proven track record in closing and signing deals related to B2C/B2B logistics
  • Ability to qualify opportunities and deliver business needs focussed sales proposals
  • Great networker and able to interact confidently with senior decision makers
  • The ability to both write and present compelling business proposals
  • A self-starter - able to work successfully on own initiative, but also as part of the team.
  • A minimum of 5 years successful experience in sales within the International Courier Industry
