International Project Manager

About the role

You will develop and deliver international and global programmes to promote collaboration and innovation resulting in maximising impact for the participating business.

You will be responsible for:

• Working with our funders to develop the programme and itinerary for each funded programme, liaising with Sector and Market Specialists, intermediaries (such as Innovate UK family members, DBT) as appropriate together with relevant overseas organisations within host market;
• Act as an International & Global Programmes ambassador and promote opportunities for Innovate UK Business Growth clients across the Exemplas Business Growth teams, and use other appropriate channels such as UK intermediaries as appropriate
• Organise an effective recruitment and selection process for each programme, ensuring that EDI principles and best practice are used throughout;
• Manage and deliver online and face to face UK based workshops, accompany and manage overseas market visits, delivering focused activities internationally enabling delegates to receive maximum benefit from the programme;

About you

You will need to have

• Experience of organising and managing overseas visits or similar activities with SMEs
• Experience of developing beneficial relationships with stakeholder organisations;
• Experience of working internationally within a service or business support organisation, ideally in the Australian market;
• Proven track record of working with partners and building relationships at senior management level within a business-to-business environment;
• Experience of developing internationally focused project ideas and bringing them forward for delivery;
• Able to work with databases and maintain accurate customer information on a CRM system.

What we offer

We are more interested in finding the right person, but we are loosely looking in the region of £40,000 - £43,000 pa FTE.

This role will be on a fixed term contract and due to end around March 2025.

This role also requires national travel and considerable international travel involving extended overnight stays. You must be a commutable distance from major London airports and a driving licence and car owner/access is desirable.
