International Tax Director

As part of huge international Tax network, they are committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional client service. They are currently seeking an experienced and strategic International Tax Senior Manager/ Director to join their dynamic team in London.

Position Overview: This hire will be a key leader within the tax practice, responsible for providing expert guidance on International Tax matters to their diverse clientele. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of global tax regulations, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality International Tax solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Advisory:

   • Serve as a trusted advisor to multinational clients, providing strategic guidance on International Tax planning, compliance, and risk management.
   • Conduct thorough analyses of clients' International Tax structures, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
   • Keep abreast of global tax developments and advise clients on their potential impact.

2. Leadership and Team Management:

   • Lead and develop a team of International Tax professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
   • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on complex International Tax issues.
   • Conduct regular performance reviews and contribute to professional development plans for team members.

3. Business Development:

   • Play a key role in business development activities, including client acquisition, retention, and expansion.
   • Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services within the UK portfolio.
   • Represent the client at industry events and contribute to marketing efforts.

4. Strategic Planning:

   • Contribute to the development of the International Tax strategy
   • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
   • Identify market trends and opportunities to enhance the firm's International Tax service offerings.

5. Technical Expertise:

   • Stay current with changes in International Tax laws and regulations.
   • Provide thought leadership within the firm and contribute to the development of technical resources.
   • Review and sign off on high-level International Tax engagements.

Qualifications:

• Professional qualification in taxation (e.g., CTA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in International Tax advisory at a senior level.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong technical expertise in International Taxation and a track record of handling complex client issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
