Working as part of a busy team, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative duties within the Inventory department. This also includes the daily management of our Waste Management business. The workload is best suited to a self-motivated individual who is capable of working to deadlines.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Obtain & process daily depot orders. Maintain inbound delivery schedule & confirm bookings with suppliers.
- Goods receipt stock.
- Transfer stock between item codes.
- Reschedule shortfall stock & update status with stake holders.
- Raise non-stock purchase orders.
- Obtain purchase order confirmations from suppliers.
- Obtain & communicate POD documentation.
- Reconcile supplier and carrier invoices.
- Maintain team mailbox & respond to queries.
- To support the Purchasing activity and maintain service levels toward targeted KPI’s.
- Produce despatch labels and forward to the warehouse.
- Filing/Archiving.
- Previous experience of working in an administration role.
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Work proactively to KPI targets and deadlines.
- Experience of working to your own initiative in a busy office environment where issues can be time critical and effective communication is important.
- High standard of PC literacy. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- knowledge of the internal system is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Role is office based, but travel may be required on occasions.
- Must have eligibility to live and work in the UK.
