Job description

Role Overview
Responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient operations and supporting the overall warehouse operation. This role is a healthy split between administration and warehouse responsibilities.
ResponsibilitiesOversee daily activities relating to the receipt, storage and issue of materials and suppliesMonitor and track goods in/out, resolving discrepancies or escalating where necessaryCoordinate the collection and delivery of faulty/repaired stock to and from external customers and partnersConduct regular physical counts of inventory to ensure the accuracy of records and reconcile stock inconsistenciesInput inventory data in the warehouse management system (WMS)Generate and maintain detailed records of stock levels, deliveries and good receive notes / delivery receiptsOrdering supplies to support other business units (tarmac/plastics/ducting)Inspect stock for quality/complianceWork closely with procurement to fulfil internal/external ordersImplement and maintain inventory stock control procedures to minimize stock issuesGenerate regular reports on inventory levels to support the day-to-day operationsImplement best practices to enhance overall inventory management processes
Skills, Qualifications & ExperienceProven, practical warehouse inventory administration experienceProficient using WMS and familiar with inventory controls and processesAttention to details, strong organisational and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenAbility to work well under pressure and to multitaskProficient with Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
