Inventory Clerk

Reed is recruiting for a Demand Management Associate to support an inventory team for a minimum of 6 months.

Salary: £24,500- £27,000 depending on experience

Hours: Mon-Fri 9-5, 30 min lunch

Location: Swindon, office based- free onsite car parking

Daily duties:

• MRP: Run the MRP weekly, analyse data and produce or amend a Purchase Order or Distribution Order as required
• Send DO or PO to relevant supplier
• Perform regular housekeeping on data that impacts MRP running efficiently
• Supplier Liaison: Ensure all suppliers provide order confirmations and update system accordingly
• Communicate amendments to relevant stakeholders and expedite overdue orders and report on supplier compliance
• Inventory: Analyse stock out situations and identify possible stock shortages and delays in supplier delivery and produce a backorder report
• Liaise with Customer Support team and NHS Supply Chain (NHSSC) and discuss potential suspensions or alternatives
• Facilitate the return of faulty stock to the relevant manufacturer in line with company SOPs
• Analyse products nearing minimum stock shelf life, planning replenishment prior to destruction or an out of stock situation
• Identify impacts on demands and liaise with Forecast and Demand Planner as necessary
• In-bound Deliveries: Work with suppliers and the Warehouse Goods Inwards team to provide receipt files, schedule inbound deliveries and pass on all relevant information to Finance team to accomplish accurate invoice matching and to support invoice queries
• Provide information on orders to support stock queries in a timely manner
• Liaise with the team on back order reports, stock destruction and forecasting, ensure compliance of relevant SOPs
• Liaise with the team to discuss department priorities and workload and support each other to provide the best possible service to the business
