Job description

The role of the Inventory Coordinator is to conduct and reconcile daily cycle counts on site and support the Inventory Lead and Warehouse Supervisor in the management of off-site storage. Prepare inventory records and reports and supports inventory discrepancy investigations as well as assisting with physical inventory counts and audits. In addition, the Job holder will be required to undertake specific projects either as a team member or as required by the Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Management

Our Role
• Conduct daily cycle counting, to the plan, meeting targets in both WM (warehouse management = main raw material warehouse which have a BIN location) and IM (Inventory Management = all other storage locations including assembly/production staging/WIP/FG and offsite storage).
• Ensure cycle counts are executed as per process, documentation is accurate, clear and complete, SAP transactions and investigations at the first level are carried out correctly.
• Support Inventory Lead with material (stock) control, monthly stock counts and reconciliation at the various external warehousing facilities and once per quarter carrying out physical stock counts.
• Assist in annual inventory audits and full physical inventory counts as needed.
• Assist in checking, shipping and calling back materials from external warehousing.
• Collaborate with the Inventory Lead and Warehouse Supervisor to ensure material stock control and FIFO (first in first out) is being followed.
• Work with team on continuous improvement, good housekeeping and 6S program
• Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.


This is a site-based role, located in Leighton Buzzard . Commutable from Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Luton, Northamptonshire and surrounding areas

What you will need to be successful..
• At least 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced, busy warehouse environment
• At least 1 years’ experience in inventory control and cycle counting
• Knowledge of SAP or equivalent Warehouse Management System is preferred
• Valid forklift counterbalance license required
• Excellent Numeracy skills and attention to detail
• Actively supports and complies with Peli’s objectives, guidelines and commitment to Quality and Safety, with an emphasis on continual improvement.
• Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels.
• Must have the ability to complete assignments within the timeframe specified by the Manager.

• Must be flexible regarding working hours.
• Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
