Pod Talent are currently supporting a fast-paced and growing client of ours, in their search for an Inventory Manager. Your primary purpose will be to safeguard our clients brand's reputation for excellence by implementing strategic inventory control measures, optimising stock levels, and fostering a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams
What you'll be doing as Inventory Manager:
- Strategic Inventory Management: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies aligned with business goals.
- Stock Demand Forecasting: Optimise stock availability, minimising excess inventory and markdowns.
- 3PL Collaboration: Foster strong relationships for efficient replenishment and accurate stock forecasts.
- Seasonal Planning: Collaborate on seasonal inventory plans, meeting customer demand and market trends.
- Technology Integration: Lead implementation of cutting-edge inventory management technologies.
What experience is required for the position of Inventory Manager:
- 7+ years' FMCG stock control experience, ideally in the Fashion or Retail industry.
- Experience with relevant systems, strong MS Office skills, and knowledge of ROS (Retail Operating Systems - Brightpearl experience advantageous), and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- 3PL stock operations management, strong commercial acumen, and building procedures and KPIs.
- Ability to work under pressure, strong initiative, excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel, Italian language skills a plus.
