Inventory & Quality Analyst

Summary

Do you love analysing data and have a real passion for utilising systems and software to delve into data? Then we have an opportunity for an Inventory & Quality Analyst to join our Inventory & Quality Assurance (ICQA) Team onsite. The role will be responsible for statistically analysing quality defects and inventory integrity errors in order to see opportunities for improvement and make recommendations that can be implemented and sustained across various areas of the Castle Donington site and wider network to support the sites future growth.

This role works Monday to Friday and the hours are 9:00am to 17:30pm.

What you’ll do

Your key accountabilities will include

• Creating data through Power BI dashboard reporting and visuals to support driving action
• Improve the efficiency and speed of Site Analytics production through increased automation of tasks and identification and reuse of known good data sets
• Understand how to manipulate and link different data sources to deliver accurate and timely reporting
• Use data to “answer” business questions and deliver reports, presentations, and compelling arguments
• Generate effective analysis through data mining and presentation of data with clear recommendations and subsequent actions

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include

• Ability to gather, interpret, and gain insights from large amounts of data to answer business questions and drive business decisions
• Using large datasets using frameworks such as Azure data lake services and Azure synapse and understands how to access and join data from different databases to tell a data story
• Knowledge of one or more machine learning tools, techniques, data bases and decisioning packages e.g. R, Python, SQL, NoSQL, Excel (Advanced), Tableau, Visual Studio
• Working experience using visualisation tools such as Power BI, Spotfire, Tableau
• Able to present sophisticated technical Data to non-technical audiences through presentations
