Investigator

We are currently recruiting for Investigators to work within a Law enforcement organisation based near Charring Cross. Hybrid model, hours 36hrs Monday - Friday. Start asap (pending vetting) for 6 months, with a possible extension. £18.80ph. Will involve some travelling throughout the UK, if required if a witness cannot interview by phone, with expenses paid.

As an Investigator, you will be involved in interviewing, taking statements, reviewing large quantities of material to identify relevant information.

Work envisaged

Preparation and interview of witnesses, including reviewing of material.

Drafting witness statements from the interviews

Essential criteria

Good communication skills

Experienced statement writer

Experience in dealing with vulnerable or distressed witnesses

Must be able to drive as some witnesses are outside London

Flexible - Some witnesses may have to be interview in the evenings

Desirable criteria

Sound technical / IT skills, including proficient use of Excel and document review platforms.

Would best suit an experienced ex-Police officer with CID experience
