Your opportunity
- A chance to play a key role in the creation, editing, publishing, and amplification of Janus Henderson’s investment thought leadership for clients globally.
- Support the investment writing team to proof, edit, comply, build, publish, and distribute differentiated insight posts in as timely, easy-to-consume and relevant a manner as possible.
- Apply your digital publishing expertise to written and filmed insights, podcasts, white papers, and portfolio reporting. A good level of investment understanding will be important to ensure high quality messaging.
- Use Janus Henderson’s AI tools to capture and summarise investment team thinking. Tailor the output to audience types and communication mediums, including social, web, and email.
- Originate articles as well as edit long-form pieces into engaging short-form content for use on the website and social media, including promo copy and takeaways.
- Support the Global Head of Content on pipeline planning and communication with key stakeholders including distribution teams, marketing, PR, and compliance.
- Establish a strong understanding of Janus Henderson’s priority products, across asset classes, product types, and regions of sale.
- Provide quality control, ensuring that articles are tagged appropriately, promo copy for social media is engaging, and notification emails are sent to sales and marketing colleagues.
- Monitor competitors and produce short monthly summaries highlighting standout pieces and making recommendations to ensure Janus Henderson’s content is best-in-class.
- Maintain metrics around Insight usage and use that data to help drive increased traffic to and engagement with the website.

Must-have skills
- Digital publishing mindset. Expertise in strategy, implementation, and execution. Suits someone with a journalism or investment marketing background.
- Copywriting and investment writing experience, with strong editorial skills, especially for a digital format.
- Knowledge of, or keen interest in, investments and financial markets
- Communication/teamwork skills – this role will be the conduit for writers on the team to publish content in a timely and engaging way.
- Strong workflow systems capabilities.
- Educated to degree level, with English, journalism, communications or similar relevant degree preferable.
- Diligence, strong planning and implementation skills with a focus on deadlines.
Nice-to-have skills
- Experience with WordPress, WorkFront, Seismic, and Bloomberg.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements for retail and institutional clients.
- Resourcefulness and enthusiasm, with the ability to generate ideas, identify efficiency opportunities and collaborate very well with colleagues across the business.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
