Investments Operations Officer
Our well established Banking client based in Northwich are currently looking for an Investments Operation Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to gain knowledge of this specialist area. A salary £25,000 is on offer.
What does the role entail?
As an Investments Operations Officer you will be carrying out day to day tasks such as:
- The onboarding of new clients and portfolios onto the AMD Back Office System.
- The monitoring and posting of cash deposits and withdrawals together with cash
reconciliations.
- The processing of transactions, liaising with counterparties to ensure timely settlement.
- The processing of all Corporate Action Events including Dividend and Interest calculations.
- The maintenance and claiming of all Trails commissions due from Unit Trust holdings.
- The transfer of stocks to and from counterparties and AMD.
- The upkeep of customer's portfolios, including conducting pricing checks to ensure accurate
records are maintained at all times.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure effective settlement of all cash and stock
transactions.
- Liaison with our Custodians and AMD front office to ensure all administrative functions are
processed in accordance with drafted procedures.
What skills will you have?
To become an Investments Operations officer, you should have a Bachelor degree in relevant field and/or professional qualification (CA/CFA, etc.
