Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an IPS Employment Service Manager who will manage an integrated IPS Employment Service that delivers practical employment support to customers with health focussed/clinical interventions referred via a range of NHS services.
You will manage teams across South Cumbria and Lancashire with regular travel across the region. You ll ensure programme outcomes and contractual targets are achieved/exceeded, ensuring your team effectively engages with job seekers, guaranteeing their barriers to employment are removed and that they secure sustainable employment. You will keep accurate data and report monthly in accordance with programme requirements, monitoring service delivery across KPI s/SLA s including referrals, access rates and outcomes.
You will be a skilled manager across all aspects of service development/delivery, workforce planning and allocation of resources and budget responsibility. You will be able to create and present meaningful management information at a senior level and be skilled in negotiating contract extensions and bid writing. You will hold a NVQ Level qualification (Level 4 or above) in health, careers guidance or have recent experience managing large scale employment or health programmes. You will hold a Level 5 Management Qualification and ideally a Project Management Qualification or have equivalent demonstrable experience of both.
