It Assurance - Senior Manager

This Big 4 firm's IT Assurance business is growing rapidly and we are hiring Senior Managers to join this dynamic team.

Client Details

Working at this Big 4 firm's IT Assurance business, you will provide a mix of broad technology assurance, IT external audit and other controls assurance work (e.g., third party assurance, SOC reports etc.).

You will have responsibility for growing the delivery of assurance engagements across corporate, public sector and financial services clients and targets, focusing on a broad range of IT related assurance projects. In addition, you may own a portfolio of third-party assurance clients, with real autonomy allowing the development of leadership and management skills with real opportunity to progress and drive your career.

Description

You will have responsibility for:

• Playing a leadership role within the IT assurance team, and managing, coaching and developing more junior members of the team.
• Taking responsibility for identifying, targeting and delivering IT assurance opportunities for a distinct market sector and/or geographic region.
• Delivering a portfolio of IT assurance engagements.
• Owning and delivering initiatives to embed quality through learning and other activity.
• Developing your knowledge and experience of the evolving corporate and financial services marketplace and underlying technologies.
• Helping to develop the IT Assurance capability, by supporting business development, practice management and thought leadership activity.
• Communicating IT assurance topics to a range of stakeholders in a clear and digestible manner.

Profile

To qualify for this Senior Manager role within the IT Audit & Assurance practice, you will have the following professional experience:

• Experience of assessing and reviewing technology assurance engagements.
• A professional accounting qualification (for example ACA, CA or CPA) is beneficial but not essential.
• A technology related background and or IT/third-party assurance experience is desired.
• Strong experience of developing client relationships, identifying and developing opportunities.
• Experience of selling and leading IT and third-party assurance engagement.
