IT Business Analyst – GBP600–GBP650 per day – Inside IR35 – Hybrid working with 2 days a week on site near Camden town – 6 months with extension. Our client, one of the key organisations delivering HS2, is seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in optimizing their IT estate. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and developing recommendations to rationalize the current IT estate, ensuring alignment with the to–be developed target operating model. This role requires a deep understanding of managed SaaS applications, cloud–first strategies, and experience in IT rationalization. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analyses of the IT estate, applications, and web services to identify redundancies, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, project teams, and third–party vendors to gather requirements and prioritize initiatives.
- Lead workshops and requirements gathering sessions to elicit insights and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Develop concise, actionable recommendations for IT rationalization, leveraging your expertise in SaaS, cloud–first strategies, and data security principles.
- Ensure optimal system functionality through integrated diagnostics and performance monitoring.
- Stay abreast of IT advancements and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our IT landscape.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to drive consensus and facilitate the implementation of recommended changes.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, with a focus on IT rationalization and optimization.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights.
- Expertise in SaaS, cloud–first strategies, and data security principles.
- Proficiency in facilitating workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and stakeholder consultations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non–technical audiences.
- Knowledge of relevant licensing and compliance regulations, such as ISO 27000, 27001.
- Experience in the Construction Sector or a related industry is a plus.
