It Business Analyst

Your new role

• You will act as the business relationship link between business units and IT at the executive level.
• You will gather business requirements and translate them into technical speech,
• You will be responsibile for communicating decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests and projects and initiatives.
• You will need to share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• You will be overseeing all activities and making strategic decisions for the major functional and technical areas within the company on a global basis.
• You will represent the company and oversee activities across multiple departments, both offshore and onshore.
• You will be providing direction to ensure support, projects, and overall strategy are aligned with the appropriate business priorities.

Your new company
You will be working for an engineering company operating on a global scale. They are innovators and leaders in their industry, with one office in London and the head office in the North West. Globally, their business is present in the U.S., Mexico and Brazil.
What you\'ll need to succeed

• A university degree from an accredited school in business, technical or equivalent field,
• Relevant IT Business Analyst or IT Business Partner experience from industry such as engineering, energy, gas, utilities or mining,
• Proven track record of gathering requirements and translating requirements,
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, architecture, cyber security and application environments,
• Excellent understanding of ITIL methodology,
• Great communication skills, ability to manage stakeholder relationships and manage customer expectations.

What you\'ll get in return
You will be offered a day rate contract inside IR35 for up to 6 months. The role is also offering hybrid working with around 2 days in the head office in Liverpool.
