As an IT Contract Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for establishing and growing a portfolio of contract placements across the IT Sector. You will leverage your industry knowledge, networking skills, and recruitment expertise to identify and engage top-tier contract candidates while developing and nurturing relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs, business objectives, and organisational culture.
• Negotiate contract terms and rates with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Meet and exceed individual and team targets for revenue generation, candidate placements, and client satisfaction.
• Provide exceptional customer service to candidates and clients, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks and offer negotiation.
• Proactively source and engage contract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
• Conduct thorough candidate screening and assessment processes to ensure alignment with client requirements and culture fit.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitive intelligence to inform recruitment strategies and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Contract Recruitment, with a demonstrated track record of success in building and growing a desk from scratch.
• Proven ability to effectively source, assess, and place contract candidates in a competitive market.
• Strong understanding of Contract Recruitment processes, including candidate sourcing, screening, and negotiation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with candidates and clients.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets and goals.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in recruitment software and tools (e.g., applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter) and Microsoft Office Suite.
