The Role:
- We are seeking a skilled IT Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and installing a variety of IT equipment in schools across Lancashire. Additionally, you will provide on-site visits, telephone support, and remote assistance to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems in schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and install IT equipment in schools.
- Provide on-site visits and remote support services.
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive the adoption of cloud technologies in the education sector.
- Meet client SLAs and maintain positive client relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of client ticket data.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Windows server platforms and Hyper-V configuration
- Experience with school software systems such as Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Internet filtering.
- Knowledge of networking, wireless configuration, and fault finding
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Exchange Online, and Apple MDM
- Experience in operating system deployment and server backups.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Full clean UK driving license
