Job Title: Workshop Engineer - IT Support

Location: Sheffield

Salary: Up to £29,000 DOE

We are recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join a leading IT Support company based in Sheffield. The successful candidate will work in a busy environment, providing technical support to clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and fix technical issues
- Support customers with installation, configuration and use of software
- Build, install and configure workstations and servers to customer specifications
- Good customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical problems to non-technical customers
- Demonstrate problem solving skills
- Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained
- Ensure customer service levels are maintained
- Provide guidance to customers in accordance with policies and procedures
- Ensure any customer complaints are dealt with promptly and efficiently
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment

Technical Skills Required
- Experience in hardware and software installation and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Windows server and client operating systems
- Knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals
- Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- The ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent customer service skills
