About us UCL’s Department of Computer Science (CS) is a top-ranked Computer Science Department in the UK. In the 2021 Research Excellence Framework (REF) evaluation, UCL Computer Science was ranked second in the UK for research power and first in England. About the role We are seeking an IT Hardware Support Engineer to join a team responsible for supporting the Computer Science department at UCL. The role will have a hardware focus but will also involve some software support. It will involve working with a wide variety of systems as well as assisting staff and students at all levels of computer literacy. Salary UCL Grade 7 £42,099 - £50,585 inclusive of London Allowance About you The successful candidate will have experience in an IT Hardware Support role, preferably in a university or research based environment. They will have the ability to communicate clearly at all levels, work as part of a team and be able to adapt to a changing environment. A customer focused approach to work is also essential.
