It Helpdesk Role - 6 Mth Ftc

This temporary IT Helpdesk hybrid role is to work within a team and offer support to colleagues on queries, breakdowns, and hardware support. Answering queries and helping in all manner of IT-related scenarios to ensure the end user can access systems and equipment. The role will be office and home-based dependent upon the needs of the business.
Job Description:

• To provide 1st line support on the service desk, logging and managing and queries
• Prioritise the calls in matters of impact and urgency to ensure solutions in a timely manner
• Also, support colleagues by directing them to self-help solutions via the portal to educate the end user
• To support new starters and leavers across the systems to ensure IT policies are met
• Escalate 2nd line support queries as required

Candidate Requirements for the IT Helpdesk role are:

• GCSE at grade C or above for Maths & English
• Previous experience of working on a helpdesk
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and MS Office
• Strong time management skills
• Good communicators who are able to build rapport easily

Hours: Core hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm so either 8:00 am-4:00 pm or 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (working 37 hours per week)
Salary: GBP25,300 per annum
