We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer for one of our public sector clients in Newtownards. You'll support the maintenance, integration and upgrades of a wide range of IT Systems. You'll be responsible for server management (mostly VMs), M365 migration, Veeam backup solutions, and storage tech. You'll lead/mentor other junior IT Support staff across 1st and 2nd line. This is a positive team of around 5 engineers, looking after the organisation's infrastructure. There are sites across NI, so travel may be required from time to time.

Essential Criteria
- IT Degree.
- Previous experience in an IT Infrastructure Engineer role.
- Experience of Microsoft support/VMware, Cisco technologies
- Experience of server management
- Experience of migrations to m365, sharepoint, intune etc
- Experience using Veeam for backups/recovery
- Strong knowledge of storage tech (SAN/NAS/DAS)
- Knowledge of network security/configuration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Keen on securing a long term role, a positive team player and eager to bring value
- Interest in public sector and doing meaningful work
- Driving licence and access to own car.
