Job type & Shift Patterns: Hybrid Model: 1 day on-site, 4 days remote, Mon-Fri
Hours: 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm (37.5 hours a week)
Pay rate: £23.52 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to collaborate with our substantive Project Managers in the technical domain. This role involves supporting infrastructure technical projects with a focus on immutable backup, harmonizing Active Directory (AD), ensuring seamless user experience, facilitating Airwatch to Intune transition, and potentially overseeing network/wifi initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with substantive PMs to plan, execute, and monitor technical projects.
- Oversee the implementation of immutable backup solutions to ensure data integrity and resilience.
- Lead efforts to harmonize Active Directory (AD) environments for enhanced efficiency and security.
- Ensure a seamless user experience by coordinating user interface improvements and system optimizations.
- Manage the transition from Airwatch to Intune, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Provide oversight for network and wifi projects as required, ensuring robust connectivity and security measures.
Experience/Skills/Tools Required:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a technical environment.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies and concepts.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions, especially immutable backup methodologies.
- Proficiency in managing and optimizing Active Directory (AD) environments.
- Experience in facilitating seamless transitions between mobile device management (MDM) solutions, such as Airwatch and Intune.
- Knowledge of network and wifi technologies, with the ability to oversee related projects effectively.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in project management tools/software for planning, tracking, and reporting (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
