It Manager

Our client, an exciting and growing company based in Marlow, is looking for an experienced IT Manager to join their team in this newly created role.

We are looking for a strong IT Manager to come in and really drive the function forward. Working with the Director of Finance & Operations, you will be a key member of the management team having input on how to take the business to the next level from a technology and software standpoint.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising daily operations of network and server infrastructure and provide first line support to employees
• Align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals
• Assist the business in evaluating IT investments and area of growth
• Evaluate risk, develop network recovery and backup processes
• Ensure the business has adequate protection
• Manage all IT systems, including servers, PC's, hardware, software and peripherals
• Work with the leadership team to deliver a new CRM project and ensure sufficient data links are in place for other softwares
• Once the new CRM has launched, take ownership to drive future developments for business functionality
• Manage crisis situations
• In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy laws and act as the data controller for GDPR
• Devise a hardware refresh policy and manage assets
• Be responsible for sourcing new hardware and managing company licenses
• Manage 3rd party virus protection and email security
• Manage the business office 365 Account & SharePoint/OneDrive
• Deliver training to employees for IT awareness and best practices
• Develop processes for users to include starters, leavers, flexible assets, password management etc.

Skills/Experience

• Proven working experience as an IT Manager
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
• Expertise in data centre management and data governance
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
• Ability to link high-level strategy to day-to-day projects
• BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
• Good project management skills

Package & Benefits

Salary: £46,000 to £50,000 (based on experience). Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm, office based.
