Our client, an exciting and growing company based in Marlow, is looking for an experienced IT Manager to join their team in this newly created role.
We are looking for a strong IT Manager to come in and really drive the function forward. Working with the Director of Finance & Operations, you will be a key member of the management team having input on how to take the business to the next level from a technology and software standpoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising daily operations of network and server infrastructure and provide first line support to employees
- Align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals
- Assist the business in evaluating IT investments and area of growth
- Evaluate risk, develop network recovery and backup processes
- Ensure the business has adequate protection
- Manage all IT systems, including servers, PC's, hardware, software and peripherals
- Work with the leadership team to deliver a new CRM project and ensure sufficient data links are in place for other softwares
- Once the new CRM has launched, take ownership to drive future developments for business functionality
- Manage crisis situations
- In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy laws and act as the data controller for GDPR
- Devise a hardware refresh policy and manage assets
- Be responsible for sourcing new hardware and managing company licenses
- Manage 3rd party virus protection and email security
- Manage the business office 365 Account & SharePoint/OneDrive
- Deliver training to employees for IT awareness and best practices
- Develop processes for users to include starters, leavers, flexible assets, password management etc.
Skills/Experience
- Proven working experience as an IT Manager
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
- Expertise in data centre management and data governance
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
- Ability to link high-level strategy to day-to-day projects
- BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
- Good project management skills
Package & Benefits
Salary: £46,000 to £50,000 (based on experience). Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm, office based.
