Leading a team of 12, as the IT Operations Manager you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the day-to-day delivery of IT services to our clients business. Leading a dedicated team and working closely with internal staff and third-party providers, you'll be instrumental in meeting and exceeding agreed service levels and will provide hands off technical assurance to the broader team.

Key Responsibilities and technical understanding
- Identify, monitor, and resolve operational issues, providing timely status reports to IT and business leaders.
- Extensive Infrastructure and IT Operations background as demonstrated by previous hands on experience.
- Strong high level technical knowledge across networking (SD WAN), telephony (Teams), Cloud Infrastructure (Azure & M365, Teams / SharePoint and desktop technologies / applications.
- Experience running an end to end , multi-skilled IT Operations teams, able to create a sense of team, purpose and development.
- Experience partnering closely with Managed Service Providers, holding them to account and able to act as day to day single point of IT contact.
- Ensure service delivery aligns with agreed-upon service levels.
- Manage suppliers to meet key performance indicators, implementing service improvement actions.
- Foster operational relationships with suppliers, resolving disputes proactively.
- Experience presenting to / creating materials for IT and business leaders.
- Demonstrable track record of on-going technical progression and championing a learning culture within the team acting as a technical mentor.
- Potential to be accepted for Security Clearance
- Can demonstrate ability to lead multiple relevant stakeholder groups to resolve operational incidents acting as the single IT point of contact.
- Track record of driving appropriate process adherence (e.g. ITIL methodologies / elements of).
- Accountable for ensuring compliance with key governance and processes such as SLAM.
- Experience operating in a change control and configuration management.
- Lead the planning and improvement of service availability, addressing breaches and initiating remedial activities.
- Develop and implement a robust continuity management plan, evaluating risks and ensuring critical business processes are supported.
