Job Description
- We are seeking a dedicated IT Programme Manager to lead a full WMS Implementation across 3 sites across the UK.
- Experience of managing Warehouse Management System implementations including both technical and operational workstreams
- Overseeing resource allocation, and highlighting resource challenges / identifying solutions
- Practising programme governance and best practices including building out templates such as PID, risk registers, and status reporting all aligned to IT target operating model
- Creating proposals for proactive risk mitigation
- Change Management including impact assessment and issuing communications / guidance to the business
- Monitoring progress and preparing / delivering regular reports to the Senior Management Team
- Management of Internal and Third parties, including offshore resource
- Management of a multi-disciplinary project teams including Project Managers, Analysts, Technical Specialists, and other cross-functional teams
- Programme/Project budget management and tracking
- Managing stakeholder communication
- CXO/MD/Director level stakeholder management
The Successful Applicant
- A proven track record overseeing the successful delivery of large and complex IT, business, and stakeholder sensitive programme
- Ability to reshape, reconfigure and realign solutions to meet challenging deadlines without jeopardising the successful delivery of the programme
- Demonstrable experience in a Senior/Lead capacity, providing mentoring and expertise to Project Managers, as well as of defining and embedding project management methodology and practices.
- Ideally have worked in FMCG (e.g., Logistics /Supply Chain) delivering a variety of programmes/projects (including WMS. TMS, Business Applications, Finance, Business Intelligence, Infrastructure etc).
- PRINCE2, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), P3O Practitioner level, AIPMO IPMO-Expert Qualifications desired.
- Strong leadership and management skills
- The ability to find innovative ways resolve problems.
