This is a great opportunity to join a high performing team at the forefront of IT initiatives for the Boots Digital Core team.Key Responsibilities• Managing key projects through stages of the project lifecycle following initial shaping by Lead BA to ensure effective and high-quality delivery• Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (both business & technical) to shape, influence and inform strategic direction• Work with the RTE to facilitate PI planning.• Adhering to project management frameworks and standards within the team• Continually assessing projects to ensure Risks and Issues are captured and understood• Managing and tracking project financesWhat you’ll need to have• You will have significant experience of working within an agile software delivery environment ideally in a leadership role.• Strong Programme and Project Management experience• Enthusiastic Project Manager able to work under pressure in fast moving environments.• Experience of Retail and Digital preferable• Experience of Waterfall and Agile preferable• Excellent relationship building, negotiating, and networking skills, able to engage and influence senior stakeholders• Ability to explain, simplify and communicate• Structured and organised• Strong understanding of principles, theories, practices, and techniques for managing activities involved in planning and delivering software development projects.• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage, influence, negotiate and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels in the business.Our benefits• Boots Retirement Savings Plan• Generous employee discount plus enhanced discounts for Boots brands, Boots Opticians and Boots Hearingcare• Excellent onsite facilities including staff shop, opticians (including free eye tests for team members), gym, cafeteria and outdoor seatingWe have a great range of benefits in addition to the above that go beyond salary and offer flexibility to suit you; click here to view our full list of company benefits (all rewards and benefits are subject to change and eligibility).What’s next?
