IT Project Manager with Digital Transformation experience required to join a small non for profit organisation
Client Details
Our client, a small non-profit organisation with bases in both London and Gloucestershire, is currently in the process of undergoing a significant business transformation. As part of this transformation, we are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to oversee a CRM system change that requires a full understanding of direct debits, one off payments and contactless.
Description
The primary objective of this role is to oversee the successful delivery of a new, customised digital platform, including the migration of all users to the live environment. This will involve close collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and partners, with the ultimate goal of completion by 2024. Additionally, this position will be responsible for on-boarding all users to the new system post-go-live.
Key experience required for this role includes proficiency in implementing Direct Debit, One-Off payments, and Contactless payment functionalities.
Specific duties of the IT Project Manager will include:
- Developing and executing Project Plans
- Identifying and managing potential issues and Risks
- Engaging and reporting progress to stakeholders
- Leading the project by example and assigning responsibilities to the team
- Coordinating the delivery of project tasks
- Managing relationships with Suppliers and 3rd party organisations
- Overseeing project budgets
- Monitoring and reporting progress on a regular basis
- Ensuring timely delivery of the project
- This role will adhere to established project management processes and protocols to achieve its objectives.
Profile
The successful candidate must have the following experience and skill-set.
- Previous experience working within a non for profit organisation
- Educated to degree level, or Prince 2
- 3+ year's experience in a Project Manager role is essential, including:
- Experience managing end-to-end projects (full project life cycle) that include substantive business change and transformation elements (i.e. not only technical activities)
- Experience managing multiple projects in parallel
- Experience managing IT system development and migration
- Experience implementing Direct Debit, One-Off payments, and Contactless.
- Experience in Agile teams.
- End User -focused
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Project or another equivalent Project Management Information
- Good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, diagrams, formulas).
- Good knowledge of project finance and
- Good analytical skills and attention to
- Good writing and verbal communication skills including ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Nurturing leadership skills.
Job Offer
Hybrid opportunity based in Gloucestershire ( 3 days in office per week)
Duration: 12 month contract
