It Quality Assurance Engineer

Join a leading ERP and stock control software company as an IT Quality Assurance Engineer assisting in IT testing and software improvements.
THE ROLE:
The job primarily involves:
- Analyse requirements (specifications/ user stories) and define test conditions.
- Report on system faults to improve overall software quality.
- Liaise with other QA colleagues, testing and software engineers when required to ensure issues are understood, effectively recorded and communicated to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Previous understanding of the fundamentals of software testing.
- A problem solver who can 'think on your feet'
- Quick learner
- Well-organised and able to prioritise
- Logical and analytical mindset, quality and detail-focused.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- £26,000 - £32,000
