IT Sales Support

About the IT Sales Support Role:
As a sales & support executive, you will be part of the team that brings all aspects of the business together. Your main duties will revolve around sales, procurement and client management. The role has a clear progression as your experience and knowledge grows. Below is indicative of what tasks/roles you will be expected to do:
- Produce client quotes, leveraging your knowledge, VAR resellers knowledge or internal technical expertise
- Processing and management of orders from approval through to fulfilment
- Work with project managers and technical leads on complex projects
- Aid on developing internal metrics and reports to assess performance and efficiency of the business
- Client liaison (with scope for account management
- Take ownership of the company calendar, liaising with management to schedule client visits
- Create and run weekly and monthly checks on licencing, customer orders, device management and antivirus portals (in tandem with our finance team)
- Back up support to Finance Manager
- Office Based in Loughton
Specific skills and attitudes we desire:
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1 to 2 years in a similar role from an MSP or VAR. You should be able to do most of the below:
- Strong experience of IT Support / Services environment
- Experience of working with TDSynnex/Westcoast/TechData IT Distributors
- Familiarity with Windows computers and general IT equipment to enable quotations to be created.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office and other vendor licencing methods and processes.
- Strong prioritisation skills
- Confident communicator in person, on the phone and on email
- Excellent time management skills
- Ambitious and optimising approach to your work
- Determination to see that tasks are completed fully, even when there are set backs
- Ability to take initiative and identify solutions to problems
- Flexibility as a small business things can change and adaptability is key
- Willing to embrace being a part of a team, flexible, friendly and motivated to work together
- Experience of Microsoft Applications especially Excel and Word up to intermediate level
- Experience of Xero accounts software

Salary based on experience - GBP25K-30K.
