Our global biotech client is looking for an IT & Security Audit Consultant to join their UK team on a part time basis. This role will likely be between 16 and 24 hours per week and would suit someone who is able to travel to Cambridge on an ad-hoc basis.
Key duties will include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the IT and data security
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to manage audits and reporting
- Advising on cyber security and process to align with company policies
- Managing relationships with external authorities
- Working closely with the senior leadership team
- Delivering cyber security awareness training
- Ensuring the company are taking all necessary steps towards security policies
- Providing quarterly audit reviews
- Ensuring the company is always in a state of audit readiness
- Managing confidential data
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working within an IT function managing the security of IT and Data
- Keen interest in audits and assurance
- Extensive background in cyber security
- Experience and knowledge of data protection laws including GDPR
- Experience in planning and delivering complex audits
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience conducting Penetration testing
- Experience working with various internal and external stakeholders globally
