IT Security EngineerMy client is looking to hire a IT Security Engineer to join their IT security team. This individual will help secure and protect the company's infrastructure and systems, data, networks. This role is a hands on technical role coupled with information security experience. You will be involved in hands on engineering, design / architecture work.Experience
- Microsoft Defender Stack – such as Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Defender Cloud, Defender Identity, CASB , Azure multi factor authentication – engineering and implementation
- Experience with Vulnerability management from a hands on engineering perspective tools such as RAPID 7, Tripwire, Qualys, Tenable, Cisco Vulnerability management (Kenna)
- Experience of common security tools such as SIEM, AV, WAF, IDS, Packet Analyzer and Endpoint Detection & Response tools.
- Any experience with SIEM tools such as IBM Qradar, Splunk, etc.
- Defender Endpoint technology
- Email security – engineering and implementation
- Any experience with Microsoft Purview, compliance centre, DLP would be useful
- Any experience with automation / scripting such as PowerShell, Bash, Python would be useful
- Experience as a hands on engineer or administrator
- Experience with design and security architecture
- Knowledge of cyber security principles, methods, technologies, and standards like NIST, SOC2, ISO 2700The ability to analyse, report and prevent cyber breaches
- Documentation and managing stakeholders
You do not need to have all the experience above and you may be stronger in some areas then others.The salary on offer is between GBP75,000 – GBP85,000 plus other benefits. My client requires 3 days per week in the central London office and other days can be remote working.No sponsorship will be offered and you must hold the right to work in the UK when applying for this role.
