Salary: Career Graded 4-7, £24,921 – £32,772
Location: Agile, Forth Banks Police Station, Newcastle and homeworking
Hours/Contract: 37 hours per week, fixed term until March 2025
The role:

This could be the perfect time for you to join us in our Digital Policing Department as an IT Service Management (ITSM) Platform Analyst.
The role manages the design, configuration, and maintenance of the ITSM platform and proactively reviews platform improvements. It maintains the product backlog while providing expert advice and knowledge on how to maximise the benefits of the tool for Northumbria Police.
You will deliver:
- Digital Police’s IT Service Management Platform services across Incident, Service Request, Problem and Change/Release Management etc via an ITIL based framework.
- You will manage platform (tool) configuration and will manage related user permission activity.
- You will troubleshoot platform errors; problem solve them and deliver the associated resolutions.
- You will translate user requirements and continually deliver proactive platform improvements whilst keeping an eye on the feature and release roadmap.
You will be:

Terms of appointment:
This is a fixed term role covering maternity leave of around 9 months.
