VIQU are partnered with a global construction company who are comprised of a collective of specialised enterprises, working to providing construction and regeneration services throughout the UK within commercial, public and regulated sectors.
As the IT Site Deployment Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the setup and dismantling of construction sites and offices and maintaining transparent communication with stakeholders. You should achieve flawless site mobilisation to elevate the customer experience and enhance the IT reputation, especially in the context of establishing IT-equipped cabins for new construction sites.
Responsibilities of the IT Site Deployment Coordinator
- Manage site/office setup requests and enquiries, ensuring effective communication with key stakeholders for accurate cost and timeline forecasts.
- Travel to construction sites across the South - Cornwall/Devon/Kent with a cut off of M4/M25 – travel is essential in this role, and we anticipate you to travel 15,000 – 20,000 business miles annually.
- Maintain precise documentation using PRINCE2 methodology and attend startup meetings to confirm IT requirements.
- Coordinate the procurement and delivery of services/equipment for site data and telecom connectivity.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams for complex mobilizations, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Build lasting relationships with local stakeholders to instil trust and seek service improvements.
- Provide cover for team members, maintain current service catalogues, and support bids/tenders.
- Ensure change management for IT environment changes and contribute to group projects.
Technical Requirements of the IT Site Deployment Coordinator:
- 5+ years’ experience in a customer-facing IT role, specialising in high-volume, low-value project delivery (you will manage 20-30 projects)
- Proven skills in stakeholder, customer, and supplier management.
- Customer focussed with a track record of enhancing customer service.
- Proficient in contract and supplier management with clear reporting.
- Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills.
- Precise and detail-oriented analytical thinker.
- Adaptable team player.
Required Qualifications:
- Prince2 qualified.
- Full UK Driving License
Please note: You will be eligible for a £6,000 car allowance, or a company car to complete the requirements of this role. You must be willing to spend a large amount of time completing travel to the construction sites.
