As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of clients' IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for:
- Providing 1st & 2nd Line Technical Support diagnosing and troubleshooting a wide range of hardware and software problems.
- Configuring and maintaining IT systems, including desktops, laptops, networks, and cloud-based solutions.
- Documenting technical issues and solutions for future reference.
- Escalating complex issues to Senior Engineers when necessary.
- Continuously learning and developing your technical skills to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.
Desired skills and experience:
- Previous experience within an IT Support position.
- An understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting principles.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Adaptable to different projects, both independently and as part of a team.
- Aptitude for problem-solving and proactive in resolving repeat issues.
- A commitment to continuous learning and development such as CompTIA.
- A can do attitude and ability to take initiative
- An advantage would be knowledge of IP networks, cabling, Firewalls, VPN s, VOIP and Web Hosting
