What do they need?
We are looking for an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our Managed Service Provider client based in Warwickshire. The successful candidate will be provided with an excellent package and the opportunity to join a highly successful team that provides industry best personal development.
What will you do?
The 2nd Line Support Engineer will be required to provide technical and operational support to customers. This will include troubleshooting, problem solving and diagnosing customer issues. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as they will be working closely with customers to resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus and be able to think on their feet to resolve customer issues.
Responsibilities?
* Provide 2nd line technical support to customers
* Provide solutions to customer issues
* Troubleshoot and diagnose customer problems
* Monitor performance and system health
* Liaise with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
* Assist with system upgrades and installation
* Assist with customer onboarding
* Work closely with 3rd Line support and other engineers
* Provide technical advice to customers
* Ensure customer SLAs are adhered to
Technical Skills?
* Proven experience in a 2nd Line Support role
* Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems
* Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
* Understanding of networking protocols
* Knowledge of Active Directory
* Knowledge of Office365
* Knowledge of backup solutions
* Knowledge of scripting and automation
* Excellent problem solving and customer service skills
