I've got an excellent opportunity with a well-established and respected Lowestoft based business that are looking for a 2nd Line Support Technician on a permanent basis. This role is a hybrid one that requires 3 days on site and 2 days remote working.
About the role:
This role is dynamic one that encompasses both 1st and 2nd Line Support within a Team of 4 IT professionals. It's an opportunity to work on continuous system and process improvements whilst supporting both internal and external system users. Alongside the BAU tasks you'll be involved with a range of exciting projects in the coming months.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
- Providing technical support - monitoring the Service Desk, prioritising and managing incidents ensuring all tasks are completed both on time and to the correct standard
- Provide local and remote support sessions
- Diagnose and solving hardware/software issues
- Introduce user guides to support user training
- Promotion of IT Security best practice, knowledge of frameworks is a plus
- Assistance and support of future digital transformation plans

You will ideally have experience with the following:
- Windows server environments
- Active Directory
- MDM
- VoIP
- Cyber security principles
- Interest in process improvement & data analysis

They're offering a package of up to £30,000 depending on your experience.
