Introduction
Due to the nature of your work, you will be required to work full time on site. The service is provided between 6:00am to 12:00am and so this role has shift patterns. You will work a 9 day fortnight and have every other Friday off.
Our client is a major defence and technology company working to support the Royal Navy. They are looking for an IT Support Technician to provide hands on support for a new IT system.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a world leading defence company providing support to military clients.
Key responsibilities
- Install and maintain computer software and hardware.
- Provide efficient desktop and server support.
- Install and maintain user accounts through Active Directory.
- Respond to general IT requests.
- Manage network components including cable patching.
Skills & experience
- Experience of working in an ITIL environment.
- Excellent customer facing experience.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10 or 11.
- Confident using Active Directory.
