It Systems Analyst

The role – IT Systems Analyst.

The salary - £30,000 - £40,000

The location – Glasgow

This is an on-site role, hybrid working is not available.

We’re working with a global organisation looking to add an IT Systems Analyst to their team to support with the implementation of new systems across the organisation and to maintain and evolve existing systems by working closely with other areas of the business and resolving routine IT service requests and issues.

Your day-to-day:

• Consult with end users and process owners to ensure that system functionality and configuration meet the businesses evolving needs.
• Provide top tier technical support and work to ensure that BAU changes across the organisation are seamless, adapting to meet business requirements as operationally required.
• Develop and support ‘low code’ applications in line with group architecture.
• Develop and maintain consistent solutions across our application suite.
• Build and maintain workflows and process automation.
• Support the team during resource-intensive project phases.
• Document business requirements.

About you:

• Experience with IT systems, technical development, testing and system implementation.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to analyse complex situations and solve problems effectively.
• Understanding of GDPR and good practice in complex data management.
• Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and communicate complex information simply.
• Pragmatic approach, balancing ideal solutions with the reality of immediate needs.
• Ability to thrive in a complex, rapidly changing, and demanding global business environment.
• Experience in configuration of operation/maintenance systems.
• Background or degree in Engineering, Construction, Industrial Services, Quantity Surveying, or Project Controls.
