My client is based in the Harrogate region and is currently seeking an IT Systems Engineerto join their friendly team that values innovation and encourages individual growth!

As the IT Systems Engineer / IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and retiring IT systems within their Harrogate site. This will include desktops, laptops, switches, and printers.

Responsibilities:

• Support and train users in their use of all company systems.
• IT Systems Engineer tasked to monitor and maintain tickets on the global IT Helpdesk.
• Minimise downtime of company systems.
• Supporting the global IT team in the implementation of cyber security measures
• Work with lab staff to resolve laboratory equipment computer problems.

Key Skills:

• Experience of working within a network/IT field.
• IT Systems Engineer with Microsoft Server Administration - Active Directory/Group Policy experience.
• Experience supporting cloud-based apps such as Azure/O365 and MS Endpoint Manager is also desirable.
• Apple iOS configuration.
• Microsoft InTune Administration.
• Network patching/maintenance, basic understanding of VLANs.

** Due to the nature of the position, there may be a requirement for some additional work outside of hours required for supporting Global projects.
