What do the team do?
The IT Training team provide innovative digital skills training and learning resources to chargeable and non-chargeable staff in a variety of software applications to inform, educate, and inspire people to reach their professional goals.
The IT Training team are responsible for the design, creation and facilitation all of our internal IT training courses and documentation and work closely with central IT services to help guide and support the firm and its users on all of our technology needs.
What will I be doing?
As an IT Trainer you will have ownership of the following tasks:
- Providing high quality IT Training in the use of core Microsoft Office 365 apps at basic to intermediate level; business systems such as iManage, our Document Management System and Practice Engine for Billing and Timesheets; as well as other bespoke systems to meet the needs of the business.
- Developing and maintaining training documentation and multi-media in a variety of formats, including our video content and online knowledgebase, in response to new and existing technologies, customer requirements and system upgrades.
- Responding to emails, taking booking requests and maintaining course booking records.
- Monitoring and evaluating training course feedback and provide recommendations to the IT Training Manager for continuous improvement.
- Supporting the IT Training Manager and wider IT team in system and upgrade projects, and communication of relevant messages to the business.
What experience do I need?
Whilst having the following experience is advantageous, we value passion and potential. If you meet the minimum criteria listed below and are eager to develop yourself, we would love to hear from you:
- Relevant certifications in IT training or education (minimum criteria).
- Proven experience as an IT Systems Trainer (minimum criteria).
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Proven experience of creating high quality training materials and learning resources.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
