It is an exciting time for WDH. We have made a commitment as an organisation to become a better connected, more digital business and we are looking for an enthusiastic IT Trainer to support us on a temporary basis up to 12 months.
What you’ll be doing:
Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of e-learning packages across the business as well as structured and innovative virtual and face to face training programmes.
This is a diverse role involving work with a broad range of teams to support the use of a variety of systems and equipment to enable efficient and effective service delivery.
What we're looking for:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, engaging and solution-driven IT trainer where your customer service skills in supporting employees in finding workable IT solutions is just as important as your IT experience.
To join our L&D team, we’re looking for someone with:
- experience of delivering ICT training or support in Microsoft applications such as, Excel, Outlook or similar applications;
- experience of using collaboration and communication systems, including MS Teams, and the ability to support employees use these effectively;
- experience of back office / operational systems to support new starters to the organisation as well as upskilling existing employees;
- a engaging, friendly and helpful way of presenting information and facilitating group discussions;
- experience of developing e learning programmes / modules using a range of authoring tools, for example, Adapt Building and Adobe Captivate, to make sure that the learning is engaging;
- experience in the production of graphics, audio and video tools such as PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Audacity, OBS;
- experience in the application of a Learning Management System (LMS) such as Moodle; and
- excellent communication and motivational skills with employees and managers at all levels internally and external to the organisation.
