SalaryWe are working with a notable global law firm in their search for an Italian-speaking Shipping Paralegal to join their London office on a permanent basis.
Duties will involve assisting an Italian-speaking Partner who largely deals with Italian clients and proceedings. This role has a particular emphasis on Shipping issues, including charterparties, bills of lading, shipbuilding, sale and purchase and sale of goods, as well as collisions, groundings, fire and explosion, total loss, salvage and towage. Specific duties will include legal research, document management, assisting with disclosure, as well as general paralegal and administrative duties.
Applicants should be well educated, including a bare minimum 2:2 law degree or GDL, on top of excellent A-level grades, and they should be highly organised with excellent IT skills.
It is essential that applicants have Native Italian linguistic skills (written/spoken), as well as high fluency in English. They should also have a good general knowledge of legal and maritime technology.
