We are looking for a versatile individual with a passion for customer services and IT to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract, (or 12-month secondment opportunity) as our new IT/AV Technician. This is a great opportunity to take your next step into a busy and varied IT Support career. We are a busy and multiskilled team supporting all areas of the organisation - consisting of 3 distinct business units: AMRC, Nuclear AMRC and AMRC Training Centre. These fast paced, complex areas have differing IT requirements. As an IT/AV Technician you will be at the forefront of helping staff from all areas, helping us to provide positive and responsive technical support service for all things IT. As a highly visible member of our team, you will: Provide IT and AV technical support to customers across the AMRC - including those at our remote sites in Wales, Derby and Preston. Be highly technical and knowledgeable with a range of IT equipment, software and services. Be proactive, professional and enthusiastic - providing responsive high quality customer service. Work with a wide range of technologies including Microsoft, Google and hardware such as Dell. Support the specification and procurement of IT equipment, software and services for the business. Liaise with customers to understand their issues or requirements. Learn the team structure, specialisms and processes in order to be able to effectively escalate issues. Be willing to learn and pick up new skills, there will be a lot of opportunities to learn and develop. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing team, and further your IT Support career.
