An international entertainment company is looking for a Japanese speaking translator.
Japanese Translator/ Interpreter - Responsibilities:
- Providing Translation: Providing Japanese <> English written translations
- Providing verbal interpretation during scheduled meetings.
- Providing ad-hoc translation/interpretation support.
- Coordinating with Global Support Services to ensure efficient translation support.
- Working with technical teams to provide translation support on applications.
- Activities supporting the translation service lifecycle (strategy, design, transition and improvement).
Japanese Translator/ Interpreter - Requirements:
- An exceptional verbal and written communicator.
- Either native level Japanese speaker (TOEIC 900 equivalent is desirable in English) or native level English speaker (JLPT N1 equivalent is desirable in Japanese).
- Translation experience is desirable.
- Interpretation experience is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of office applications (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel).
- Experience of using CAT Tools (translation software) is desirable.
- Good knowledge of quality assurance process and roles.
- Experience of testing products throughout the quality assurance phases is desirable.
- Experience of working with defect tracking systems and service desks applications is desirable.
